You Can Win Top 25 Cigars--Find Out How
Knuckle Sandwich, a pair of brands developed in collaboration between cigarmaker Erik Espinosa and television personality Guy Fieri, is getting a third cigar line with a lighter wrapper. Fieri is best known as the host of the reality series “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.”
“In the last year, Guy has shown his enthusiasm and commitment to our industry and the Knuckle Sandwich line. He is excited about adding a Connecticut offering to the Knuckle Sandwich brand and providing yet another smoking option to its fans,” said Espinosa in a press release.
Made in Nicaragua by A.J. Fernandez at his San Lotano factory, the line consists of an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder from the Jalapa region and Nicaraguan fillers. The other two lines, Habano and Maduro, feature Ecuador Havana and Ecuador Sumatra wrappers respectively.
Knuckle Sandwich Connecticut will be available in three regular-production sizes: Robusto J, measuring 5 inches by 5 ring gauge ($12.50); the box-pressed Short Churchill G, 6 1/2 by 48 ($13); and Toro H, 6 by 54 ($13.50). All ship in white boxes of 20.
A soft launch of Knuckle Sandwich Connecticut will begin in January at Espinosa lounges and select retailers before its debut at the Tobacco Plus Expo trade show in February.
The Habano version was rated earlier this year in Cigar Insider, with the Corona Gorda R size scoring particularly well. Last week, it was named Cigar Aficionado’s No. 23 Cigar of 2022.
